Learning Technologies Exhibition 2008

Hello all,

This is a little experiment in to the world of blogging and hopefully other Internet related ventures.

As a team we are constantly looking for ways to improve how we deliver learning programmes and strive to deliver ‘best in class’ learning solutions. The learning exhibition was a place where vendors and learning professionals could showcase their products and expertise with presentations, podcasts, case studies, giveaways, product demonstrations and much much more.

Filled with the premise of using different technologies within our own organisation I’ve started this blog to try and create some sort of collaborative networking within our team. This may or may not work but even if everyone checks out the blog then it’s a start!!

I hope to add some PDF documents from the learning exhibition and also some other files which may be of interest to you as technology is moving quickly and we need to keep up or we’ll get left behind!

If I can figure it out I will also add some useful presentations, programmes (or web addresses) which are used within the L&D industry that come highly recommended and are all free!! Watch this space!!!

Here is the first presentation

  3. Mike, finally I get into the site!!!! Looks great, not sure about your photo though. Could not open the pdf and error message said that the file had been damaged. Movie clip very good. I am intrigued by idea of Second Life and it may well work best with Personal Skills and some Sales and Service techniques so when I get a mo I’ll have a look and let you know what I made of it!!! Has anyone else been on Second Life?
